The average Hall of Fame hitter has an OBP 43 points higher than Williams to date, but a SLG 96 points lower. I'd take 10,2000 ABs just like his first 102.

He needs for his curve or slider to become better and more dependable. He also needs to get a bigger velocity gap between his four-seamer and his changeup. We know the four-seamer is murderous, but he hasn't gotten good results on any of his three off speed pitches this year. I'm worried about him.

Would like to see the phillies make a move for Gausman or Bauer this offseason. Both agreed to 1-yr arb deals last winter, are having pretty lousy 2017 seasons but still have high upside. I don't think it would take too much to get them and they would be more intriguing to me than Eflin, Thompson, Lively, etc.

I'd be down for Bauer if he doesn't cost too much. He's really good when he's on and he's only 26. I keep thinking he's going to break out and it would be cool if he was with the phillies when/if he did.

This is cool. Thanks for posting, that ll team was so much fun. I was on vacation at Hershey park with my family and my parents during their run. It was fun, they had the games on in the resort we stayed at and it was just a lot of fun following them. Glad a lot of them are still playing together that's cool. Hope we hear about them in the draft in a few more years
