Virginia speeding laws are nuts. 20+ over the limit or over 80mph is reckless driving and a misdemeanor. Usually anything over 90mph will include jail. Anyone who has lived in VA will tell you not to speed. Shit is insane.

I need to remember to mention this to Mrs. Vulture next summer when we drive up i-81. She has a heavy foot, and will from time to time exceed 90 on the interstate.

Are radar detectors still illegal in VA

Also, assuming Mr. Werth could afford a decent attorney, whatever he really did might be even worse than 105 in a 55.
