KEVIN!!!

Are you "home" home now??

'cause it's almost time to leave for G4!!!!

What's your take on the crowd?? I think because of the rain, temperature, and delay, they were all frozen drunk....

Douche.

Was he describing every hit Tampa has gotten this series? If so, I agree with him. Of course, if he's talking about the last play, does he think the force at home would have been worth 3 outs if Longoria makes the play?

country star, taylor swift, who surprisingly is from wyomissing, PA

True story: Buddy of mine briefly dated her.

true story: her dad is my dad's stock broker. my parents have stayed at their house in not nashville but that other town that's right outside of nashville where all those country music people live.

Memphis?

it was exciting early on, so cool to hear the introductions, etc.

i was so happy that they didn't boo pujols when he came out.

the crowd was dead, partly because of all the gloved hands but mainly because of the delay. it was a little depressing, but i did what i could.

i love this game.

that's not it. i forget. anyway, my dad called her dad one time because my wife didn't believe that they were friends. he just wanted to prove that scott (her dad) would answer the phone. not only did he answer the phone, but he wouldn't shut up about all of the different merchandise that she moved in the past year and about how she was the highest grossing whomever in all of wherever for whatever period of time he was talking about. then he was talking about how she planned to this crazy thing with wearing a dress under a hoodie and singing in the rain or some shit at the awards show. my dad just put the phone on speaker and we loooooofffffed. she's such a normal kid. my wife said she opened her concert her in reading with eminems lose yourself.

i thought the crowd was great there. at least my section was PUMPED. the eva and garza chants were loud as hell.

got lulled in the middle, but there was nothign really going on. everytime a pitcher got ot a 2 strike count the place was alive.

you can't expect a crowd to stay insane for every pitch. there's just too much downtime in between pitches.

but i was yelling at my section for sitting down too early int he beginning.

unbelievable game though. and best game of my life.

at the end it was me and my friend with 3 strangers hugging and jumping up and down. such a surreal moment. loved every second

significantly awesome experience at the game! my wife and i had standing room seats and despite getting there at 6:30, we couldn't get a spot, so we stood behind the guys in standing room that were standing behind the 6'6" drunken giant behind home plate. i had no idea what happened when ruiz hit the dribbler down the line. i saw the pitcher wind up, and i saw what looked like a baseball airmailed high enough that i could see it over the drunken giant, and then there was mayhem. pandemonium broke out, and i knew that a run must have scored and that regardless of what happened, the phillies had won and it was 2-1 and everyone was going crazy and so was i!

even more awesome was when we got out of the subway at the cross of broad & walnut street, it was a madhouse! cars were honking horns and everyone was slapping everyone five and a guy was hanging out of the roof of a car slapping people five on the corner. people chanted "let's go, phillies, let's go!" as i walked down walnut street. this is a phillies town!

So, I've got Vox's sickness, only without the drugs, so I missed most of last night's game. Got to see the back to back HRs, and I heard the game get tied, and that's about it. If tonight goes the same, I'm going to have to record it. I'd give anything for a replay.

This morning's Philadelphia Inquirer has nice coverage of last night's game-I'm impressed they could get it on my doorstep so early and looking forward to wasting my Sunday morning with it.

Somehow managed to run up a tab over $200 at Buffalo Billiards in Old City with $3 beer specials. I think my blood has been replaced by Miller High Life. Anyway, after the game Chesnut Street was completely filled with people just celebrating. Cars could not even get by. I can't even imagine what is going to happen if win it all, I really think there will be legendary riots.

"It's just one of those days where the things that they did were right and the baseball gods were on their side," said third baseman Evan Longoria. "It's one of those games where everything goes right for the opposition."

Just getting up & around,

delighted to find joe maddon's gravitational pull did not roll back last nite's final score.

Also have to note that Drugs' perverse cheeriness is growing on me, like Herbert from Family Guy.

Game's only 10 hrs away. Gosh, I feel like having a cookie.

I'm glad I can laugh now at this quote from Eva Long-ofer. It makes it that much more satisfying to whip their pansy, excuse-making butts.
