Yeah, it's kind of odd how nobody is pointing out that St. Joe played a lousy-hitting lefty outfielder, when he had three other options, against a lefty starter, and then kept him in against Romero who's grizzly death on lefties. Maybe there's a point at which brilliance becomes so pronounced that it bends back around into dumbassery.
