Yep, I had the same thought. Myers going out there down 0-1 might have been really ugly.

Add in that they can go lefty-crazy tomorrow night--Stairs or Dobbs DH'ing rather than Coste with his inability to hit a fastball--and I feel pretty damn good right now.

Talking about the other teams bitching about the layoffs.

Does anyone think the difference was the Rockies were a hot team mediocre team on one of the hottest streaks in the history of baseball? and the phillies are a really good team that's just playing good ball the last 2 months?
