Terrified of what BC is going to do on Thursday. I really fear he'll squander the assets we endured the past few seasons to earn.

Boston gets: Jah
Lakers get: their pick back, 3, Saric
Sixers get Ingram

This is why keeping Nerlens makes sense. Love the idea of Dunn and Simmons sprinting court with Nerlens heading to the rim and Saric trailing. With hopefully a dude like Spike Crabbe sitting in the corner.

Such a no-brainer.

Adding in three or four more great picks by 2019.

Saric and another top 10 pick to move from 3 to 2? way too much

The novelty of the top two picks is cool, but I wouldn't pay a ton for Ingram in particular

let's ride this Saric thing out for a bit

having a bunch of guys on the floor that can pass and move in transition is very appealing to me, especially when we'll probably struggle in the half court regardless of who is on the team this season.

is there any benefit to signing Saric from a trade perspective? makes it more tangible that he's an actual asset for trade partners? helps to match salaries?

I view Saric as our Ginobili. He doesn't have to get 30+ minutes a game especially his rookie season. Let's pass the heck out of the ball and find out who can really shoot.

Two top 5 picks, plus Saric (who might be drafted in the top 5 this year if he were eligible) to give up pick 2? Seems more than necessary. Lakers might be quite bad next year.

I'm to the point where if you could assure me Collar wouldn't trade Noel or future picks, I wouldn't care if Okafor retired.

Like....you almost can't fuck this up.

Like others have said it's doubtful we keep both picks or even one. The guy I'd be ecstatic to get if he fell (most mocks have him in the teens) is Demetrius Jackson, PG from Notre Dame. Super athletic, good spot-up shooter and good defender. He's a little undersized at 6'1" and isn't the best facilitator, which like Wade Baldwin is okay with Simmons. He shot .417 as a Frosh, .429 as a Soph and only .331 this year. He played off the ball with Jerian Grant as the primary handler his first two seasons. Think he could be groomed into a Pat Beverly type PG.

big board time?

http://www.deepishthoughts.com/kaisers- ... big-board/

simmons, ingram, baldwin, dunn, payton, deyonta davis, brice johnson, bembry, mccaw, derrick jones jr, denzel valentine, onuaku, ellenson, felder, jaylen brown to finish the top 15.

mostly just been seeing/reading how 8-40 are basically interchangeable at this point. lotta players in this draft can do multiple things. rather keep our two picks and get someone quality.

That Lakers pick or gulp...our 2017 pick with Kings swap rights should not be used for anything other than a star. I just don't see a star out there with a team willing to reload. Please please BC don't touch those future picks for a Jeff Teague like player. Sign a Courtney Lee and Jeremy Lin type players to 1yr/20m deals and let's see what we have this year.

i can't remember how well we mapped it out in the past, but there seems to be indication that we can't accommodate all of these new roster spots and development. Something has gotta give once the board breaks a certain way in the teens. Would be surprised if they used both picks
