heh yeah

I haven't played a video game in 6 months or so and I haven't bought one in a couple years but I'm thinking 2K15 might be a fun stop gap to get my Embiid fix.

why the fuck have we not signed Jimmer yet

he had a PER of 15.8 last year and shot 47% from 3. Can't tell me that wouldn't be some fun action off the bench.

Jimmer definitely has some warts to his game, but even from what I saw in his nba action, with a bit more playing time, he should be a nice little combo guard off the bench that could stretch the d and provide some offense.

With Lin off the table and Pierre Jackson out for the year, I like the idea of bringing him in. However, maybe it's more of a contractual thing with him no longer on a rookie deal. Maybe hinkie and company feel they would just be developing him for some other team?

What would people think about throwing Heyward money at Klay next year? 4/63.

Bit of an overpay but that's what you have to do with an RFA it seems like the perfect fit.

Could push GSW into the luxury tax and make them not match
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Yeah he's likely to get 16 mil per year. Assuming he doesn't regress he will have a lot of suitors next year as an RFA.

All is quiet on the Bulls Pau Gasol front- sounds like it's a certainty that he's signs there, but where is the Pavorskyesque chatter around the Sixers acquiring Boozer and assets. Irresponsible twitter reporting is clearly slacking...

Las Vegas schedule:

After Tuesday, all 24 teams will have played three games. The teams are seeded 1-24 based on overall record, then quarters won, then point differential, then coin flip. 1-8 get a bye on Wednesday, with 9-24 kicking off the first round of a tournament bracket. The championship is on Monday 7/21 at 9pm ET.

Amare or bargnani to the sixers seems like a deal,I'd expect to happen - can't save the cap space for next year so may as well get something for it - is Shumpert enough? Wouldn't mind hardaway too.

I hate to see Jackson gain traction with the Knicks and they become the premier nba destination. I would be very weary of helping them do that unless, it's a deal you just can't refuse. Aka.. In addition to those 2 an unprotected 1st round pick 5-8 years down the road.

But I wouldn't be upset if they sit on the cash and see if something pops up at the deadline.

Those two contracts are off the books after 2014 anyway so not doing the deal with them won't keep them from becoming a destination - can easily see them signing Love and Rondo, for example, after this season if Love doesn't go to Cleveland.

Chicago is trying to find a low cost taker for Boozer. He might also be a good mentor for the young bigs as supposedly he did very well in Chicago in a similar role.

wouldn't mind having Boozer around but I dunno what the Bulls would trade that I'd want (same problem as the Knicks w/Amare). Snell maybe

my thinking is 30 mil in cap should net you something better than Shump. I really liked him as a rookie but he seems to be plateauing/declining. It's quite possible it's just cause the Knicks are garbage but I think at the trade deadline you could find a better opportunity to use that cap flexibility.

This is a good point. Seriously all our second rounders were excellent value. Was a good way of balancing having to wait on Embiid and Saric.
