If Kennedy was involved in what was alleged, shame on him, but it's got nothing whatever to do with what happened in this election.

The election is over. Trump won. It's time for him and his supporters to be accountable for their actions. Everything can't be dismissed by saying Obama, Clinton, Kennedy or anyone else is worse.

Just posted an interesting article. read into it what you want.

You called it sweet irony, and the article is from 2009. You didn't post an interesting article with no intent. It's fine to have an opinion on the perceived hypocrisy of the Democratic party due to something that happened in the 80s, just don't be vague about it.

Um, are you saying it's mandatory to post a strong opinion attached to any link posted? Funny, doc did make a similar request a few years back. You are in esteemed company!

Thanks for the link, kruker. I was not aware of that part of history.

No. Kruker obviously posted that link to call out the hypocrisy of Democrats worrying about Trump and Russia when Kennedy was doing shady shit in the 80s. I called him out for acting coy it instead of posting his actual thoughts. I think we have a communications problem; instead of trying to discuss an issue we set traps or speak in half measures.

had dreams about this whole shit show last night. if Putin just wants to destabilize democracy in america he certainly succeeded regardless of who won the election. with Trump its even more prominent. Manafort advising on every cabinet selection is basically Putin picking our government. Every single cabinet pick is against the very thing that cabinet stands for. its an absolute destruction of our government at this point.

If there were a movie or TV show where a Presidential election was hacked by the Russians and the President-elect then appointed as SoS someone with no foreign policy or diplomatic experience, but who had been awarded the Medal of Friendship by the Russians and considers Putin a friend, you wouldn't believe it.

The new trumpie idea is that the popular vote win doesn't matter, not because of the EC and its virtue, but because so much of it came from California. Chop off Cali and he wins easily! It's unfair that California has so many people, distorting the vote totals because they're probably not as American as thr rest of America.

the FOP has ideas on their website on their letterhead. it's a list of what they say Trump want to do in his first 100 days:
End DACA
reverse ban on racial profiling
restrict funding to 'sanctuary' cities
don't allow immigration from 'terrorist-prone' areas
expand a program that deuptizes local law enforcement to act as immigration officials
reverse US-Cuba relations
more death penalty priority!
more private prisons, please
repeal ACA
fund marijuana research
stop having SSA provide mental health info regarding those who shouldn't have guns and also stop funding research about gun safety
let police have military weapons again, please

Someone posted a video of the "Love Actually" SNL skit on Facebook. The Trumpkins comments on the video were exactly this. Some saying it was just "liberal Los Angeles". It's scary how these talking points are instantly gulped down by our uneducated and unfortunate.

guy on my facebook page posted something about liburrls using the email thing as a smokescreen. Who is still whining about the emails? Everyone I know is concerned about the cabinet picks or trying to get the electors to do their job.

This is some serious shit going on. Trump has literally placed people in charge of each dept that hate the dept they were given. They're going to deregulate EVERYTHING and take advantage of the most vulnerable among us. The lower middle class will become poor, the poor will become destitute and the destitute will become dead. And once we have an even larger poor and desperate population, they can really start to do what they want because people will agree to anything. I don't even know how you stop it at this point. Someone within the group needs to stand up. We need a whistleblower. Romney, God help us, may have been our last chance, but he didn't get the job.

There will need to be some move made to preserve the people who voted the Trump mindset into office. Maybe TRUMPcare, where he puts his constituents on life support until they can vote his agenda through to term.

We need a whistleblower.

Don't worry, in 100 years there will be some rock band who names their band after him... if we survive WWIII that is.
