This one has legs. The MSM is sinking its teeth into it. There's going to be a lot of rolling disclosure about who was involved. The two most likely points of contact between Russia and TrumpWorld (if any exists) would seem to me to be Manafort and Roger Stone. This really could be yuge.

The image from the politico article looks like Trump spouting gibberish and his sycophants smugly smiling at his 'genius' words.

Yeh, he overreacted to it. The microexpressions tell it all.

We may literally have a foreign government, and a hostile one at that, with a huge amount of control over what our country does and doesn't do.

The electors need to step up.

The RNC was hacked but wasn't released. They still have that info. Huge issue.

"I think, to be candid with you, that you will see the General Assembly look to reassert its constitutional authority in areas that may have been previously delegated to the executive branch," said Lewis, a Republican, according to The News and Observer in Raleigh. He added that Republicans may "work to establish that we are going to continue to be a relevant party in governing this state."

Pressed on whether lawmakers would seek to change the governor's power to appoint officials, including members of the state elections board, Lewis said, "I think you're on the right track."

Fresh Air today was real depressing

http://www.npr.org/2016/12/14/505547295 ... lieve-them

edit: One of the big things was something we talk about here all the time. You can't engage people and tell them they're wrong because first engagement is in a negative tone. Telling anyone that they're wrong about something is never going to end well. So telling someone that their news is fake or that they're spreading a lie its just insulting them.
