The upside to Trump's behavior is its hard to imagine him going along with Ryan's unpopular agenda. Even if onboard initially, Trump would be bail at the first hint of popular resistance.

It seems unlikely that he'll be letting others make decisions for him.

A lot of his appointees lack relevant experience so they are unlikely to be all that effective.

I'm not so sure.

Because I'm not sure he's ever decided anything about any activity to which his name is attached, in the manner in which many if not most adults think of "decisionmaking"; that is, as an activity that involves the gathering of data, an assessment of its information, out of which emerges a considered response to that information.

That's not how our next POTUS does it. In fact, he doesn't do it that way, or any useful way.

People "handle" him, like they handle incurable schizophrenics. He emits decision-sounding word noises, but people around them - of varying degrees of responsibility and determinate authority - actually decide, or rather take expedient non-decision action, and scramble on to the next potential catastrophe their principal sticks his pig-ugly face into.

That's sort of the point of the hires.

2 years.

I give the hyperbolic-modifier-driven drumpf machine 2 years. We're moving from no-drama Obama to ALL-MELODRAMA INCREDIBLE AMAZING DRUMPF DEALS, which has no oil in the crankcase, and will throw a Congressional rod or seize up well before he has a chance to run for re-election.

here's an example of the overheating already beginning: watch wretch Priebus's interview with the lame Chuck Todd on today's MTP.

Jaw-droppingly incoherent, and the guy he's reputedly going to be assigned to handle, the guy who's staff he's going to be chief of, is not even POTUS yet.

He can't handle Chuck fucking Todd

Trump literally said he doesn't need daily briefings because he's, like, a smart person

The good news in Trump trusting his gut is his gut keeps getting bigger.

We need to stop letting Cheeto rent space in our domes. He is doing an excellent job of digging his own grave.

Isn't that patently illegal? I'm more upset he didn't just do it.

John Bolton suggested that the hacking of the DNC mightve been a false flag operation by the Obama administration because reasons.

Rick Perry is the leading candidate to head the Department of Energy. This was the department Perry forgot he wanted to get rid of.

This isn't going to end well, is it?

that cheeto-faced ahole is now tweeting about how it's just a conspiracy theory that is being peddled about Russian interference

@realDonaldTrump 3m3 minutes ago
Unless you catch "hackers" in the act, it is very hard to determine who was doing the hacking. Why wasn't this brought up before election?

he was literally called a puppet of Russia on stage in a debate seen by almost a 100 million people, and she cited intelligence from 17 government agencies. It was brought up.

also, the CIA admitted that hacking took place in October, BEFORE the election. The recent revelation is that they wanted to specifically note that it was to help Trump and hurt Clinton (which was obvious but they wanted to verify it). FROM OCTOBER

one of the goals in an authoritarian regime is obfuscating and playing with the truth. You can never believe what is being said by outside media or sources because they are all corrupt and have lied in the past, so you must trust me, The Leader.

THIS MUST NOT STAND. Electors need to do their fucking jobs.
