It goes to show you how strong and competent Hillary is. Constantly under fire from the Russians to Wikileaks to the FBI to the KKK to the Republicans, etc., she has managed to run a very good campaign with no drama and no leaks.

President Obmaa is going to have the Army Corps examine ways to reroute the Dakota pipline away from tribal land:

As a general rule, my view is that there is a way for us to accommodate sacred lands of Native Americans, and I think that right now the Army Corps is examining whether there are ways to reroute this pipeline,” Obama said an interview Tuesday.

The White House said the corps was exploring a range of options that would address concerns raised by tribal officials and others. Separately, the Army, the Justice Department and the Interior Department are discussing with tribal governments how to prevent future disputes with the federal government over public works projects, according to the White House.

That's one way to view it. They way I view it is it's pretty unbelievable that her and her staff have allowed it to get this close. If this was an NFL game, she should be winning this by 2 or 3 TD's, instead it may come down to a field goal.

I think it's a reflection that overall climate is generally the most important factor (as political science research suggests) and that the candidates are secondary. This year, the R candidate is so bad that he'll lose an election that he should've won. But, Democrats should be thankful it wasn't Ted Cruz as the nominee, because I think he'd narrowly win this.

Me too. I expect some craziness on election day. The fact that Trump keeps getting dems to say that we need to accept the election results no matter who wins makes me nervous. Hacking our voting machines would be pretty simple for the russians. They probably couldn't do it on a large enough scale to effect the outcome, but it would cause chaos and distrust.

PA16 is actually within reach. Lots of money on the R side being poured into it to combat the registration change. Dems brought Bill Clinton in last week and Tim Kaine in two weeks ago for Senate but also in this district.
