It definitely felt like today should be Friday. I even thought "why isn't there a Friday thread yet?" This morning before I realized. I'm gonna drink like it's Friday tonight though.

Car chase on the way home from work. That was wild. BMW weaving in and out of traffic with 4-5 cops right on him, then a dozen more passed in the next few mins.

I upgraded to a new phone a while back, but the phone always gave me an error message when starting. I've just been using my old phone in the meantime. But I was told to take the new phone to the Verizon store to get it fixed. Didn't do it for a couple months. Then when I was ready to go over there, they were on strike, and I didn't want to deal with that. Now I'm due for another upgrade. Didn't realize I was sitting on this for a year. Has to be up there for my longest procrastination.

I feel like a million bucks today. Don't know why. Don't care why. Just gonna enjoy it and ride the wave as long as I can.

I don't understand how the DMV works. My ticket is A169 and they were flying through A tickets. They got to 163 and now switched to other letters. Please send help.

You might have the A tickets as the line for license renewals. It involves a camera. Not every lane at the DMV has a camera and license printing station.

Yea, originally there were 3 lanes accepting As, then 1, then none.. and then I bitched to BSG and it was fixed.

How hard would it be for DMVs to develop an app that allowed you to renew your license with a selfie? And for that matter, how much longer are we going to have to carry a license around at all when it should be pretty easy to simply have it with your smart phone? Surely this is happening. If there are almost no reasons to go to a bank branch, it seems like there should be almost no reason to go to the DMV.

went to the DMV Wednesday to get my NY drivers license, 6 years after moving here. was in and out in 15 minutes. prior to going I got an ice coffee at a neighboring coffee shop and the kid in line behind me was like, bro, can I cut in front of you I only have two gatorades. I can't imagine that ever works but I guess gotta give him credit for trying.
