googled phone # while cell was ringing, 2nd hit says "this is a legitimate amazon number" so I answered. delivery guy, want to give a heads up that he's on his way. See him pull in the driveway, instead of just leaving package he knocks. and keeps knocking. So I go down from my office and get the package. 2 minutes later he's knocking again- he forgot to scan it as delivered, so i have to go upstairs and get the package for him to scan again.

I may just go back to brick and mortar

Does anyone have a number for Amazon? I had a package "delivered" when I was at my place, heard no knock and saw no package. The delivery service was altrac and spent 25 minutes on hold until I finally got hold of a representative and told them the situation. He looked and at first said the driverdropped it off at a ups or fedex store. I asked him which one, and then he paged the driver and the package actually got lost. They said they would contact me today about the package... It's after 4, no call or package. What are my possible actions that I can take? It was purchased with an Amex card, do I dispute the charges, go through Amazon or the delivery service?

Do a live chat with Amazon. Very good chance they send you a new Sybian over night, don't care about the first one (so you still might get it), and give you $5 credit
