RT if you dropped your phone in a lake and tried to go in after it and everyone thought you worked for the pedal boat place and kept asking you how much do the boats cost while you stomped around in the slime.

good news is with insurance I only had to pay a $175 deductible + plus a new case + a new SD card. I got some clam, shrimp & chorizo pizza & then some penna cotta to commiserate.

Yup. They did a visual inspection (without notifying me of when that happened), sent one letter and then cancelled the policy within a month of issuing it.

I met a couple whose son is named "Kaile". It's pronounce exactly like "Kyle". Why do people do that shit to their children?

And what exactly was the problem? A tree that made them nervous?

Check your policy. They still have to comply with certain conditions when cancelling. Seven days' notice is likely insufficient.

Residents in Greenville, South Carolina, are being warned about a person dressed as a clown who is allegedly trying to lure children into the woods.

According to an incident report from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office, a resident told officers that her son heard clowns in the woods "whispering and making strange noises." The woman went into the area described by her son and saw several clowns flashing green laser lights before they ran away.

Another resident told officers that she saw "a large-figured clown with a blinking nose" under a streetlight who waved, but did not approach her.
