I don't understand why she would meet with donors or do paid speeches for the 4 years before she knew she was running for freaking president. You're already well off just be Gandhi for a few years.

there's an idea that the Clintons have thought for some time now that no matter what they do they'll be accosted by people on all sides so they stopped caring what people think about what they do.

i think that's horribly short-sighted, but that's a big theory that is out there. PEOPLE ARE SAYING IT.

No one is calling you a racist, Housh. The question is why is this not a story when the names involved are Roosevelt and Kennedy or Bush and Paulson but it is a story when the names involved are Clinton and Fernando?

I guess it's sometimes hard to separate important people that the SOS has to meet from people who will donate to stuff like the foundation.

The paid speeches thing still makes zero sense though.

I've been considering whether to weigh in for the past hour by posting this article from last year - Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal - from Breitbart's sister publication, the New York Times. Or to just continue reading the various feeble pro-Hillary spin attempts while quietly looking on.

Donald Trump bragged Thursday night that he could buy politicians — even the ones sharing the stage with him at a Republican presidential debate.

“You’d better believe it,” Trump said. “If I ask them, if I need them, you know, most of the people on this stage I’ve given to, just so you understand, a lot of money.”

When did it become okay for conservative politicians to self-identify as victims--whether it's victims of the "liberal" media, the politically correct movement, the "anti-religious" crowd, etc? Isn't that why they generally condemn PC culture or minority groups for doing?

I know that's not an entirely new phenomenon but it definitely seems to have been cranked up a notch or three over the past few years. And now Trump is taking it to a whole other level. His tweet this morning talking about how "everyone" is reporting about how the liberal media is treating him worse than any politician in history is fucking amazing on so many levels.

The main level regarding that tweet is that it's wrong, and it's not even close to the truth.

Also I've been disregarding everything anyone says who whines about "political correctness."

It's worked out well.

Like I said, those who view her negatively will say 'ah ha' and those who don't won't. In the article they state that it's 'unknown' if there was a connection. Did the other agencies and government get influenced? Doubtful.

While you're looking on you can read this and get some facts. Facts are good. You need those.

Like most scandals involving the Clintons, this was an issue that could have been avoided if they had any ability to scrutinize their own actions.

We're spoiled by Obama, who has been basically scandal-free (I know, BENGHAZI IRS FASTNFURIOUS ETC). Hard for me to think of another presidency without lots of SCANDAL besides maybe HW Bush in the past 35 years? I was young then so maybe I am missing something.

No doubt, this stuff is a problem. It's exactly this stuff that makes so many liberals and moderates reluctant to support her.

it's as simple as this: the gob of sewage the Republican party has nominated as its candidate for the Presidency must not be allowed so much as a tour of the White House. That is blindingly obvious to any sentient mammal. Stop talking, wait until November, and do not vote for it.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)
