Actually, it was a little more than that. He sexually harassed underaged interns while he was in Congress.

yes, to be clear, the gay and perv parts are not connected. the pederast part is the perv part, the gay part is the hypocrisy of him and stupidity of the GOP.

Worked for the media consultant that did Foley's ads in 2006. That was not the best day in the office, where we found out a day before it broke. Then I went back to my apt where my roommate/one of my best friends from high school was a reporter for US News. To this day kinda regret not giving him the scoop. Then we got Joe Negron as a client, who was his replacement, and we did ads asking people to "Punch Foley for Joe" because Foley was still on the ballot.
We didn't win that election in spite of such brilliance.

The reason why he had to repeat himself was because the crowd didn't react to it at first. You could tell by their faces that they kind of realized that he jumped the shark with that remark. Trump had to say it a few times to get them energized enough to clap.
It all just feels so forced now.
