Yeah this was a bad idea, and he is going to realize it VERY soon. I don't think he is braindead like a lot of you do but the guy can't be given the power of commander in chief

He is better at being a goofy reality tv personality that says FIRED

The topic that is befuddling reporters about Trump today is if his campaign has taken in 80 million in donations why has 0 been spent on ads? Something weird going on.

Meanwhile Hillary campaign announces they will be putting resources into Georgia and Arizona.

Putin offers Turkey's Erdogan closer ties
In June, the Kremlin said Mr Erdogan had apologised for the downing of the jet and had sent a message expressing "sympathy and deep condolences" to the family of the dead pilot.
Then, after the 15 July coup attempt in Turkey, Mr Putin expressed support for Mr Erdogan. He did not criticise Mr Erdogan's crackdown on political opponents and purge of alleged "plotters" in state institutions.
The BBC's Sarah Rainsford says Russia is keen to capitalise on Turkey's cooling relations with the West following the failed coup.
Turkey's ties with its Nato allies - especially the US - have been strained by disagreements over the Syrian civil war. Turkey's priority is to weaken the Kurdish separatist forces, while the US is focusing on destroying so-called Islamic State (IS).
Mr Erdogan was angered by criticism from the EU and the US of the mass detentions of suspected plotters. He demanded that the US extradite Fethullah Gulen, the US-based Muslim cleric whom he accuses of organising the coup. But the US says Turkey must provide solid evidence before such a move can be considered.
Turkey's Justice Minister, Bekir Bozdag, says more than 26,000 people have been detained.

They back opposing sides in Syria. Turkey is furious at the scale of Russian air support for Syrian government forces, as Mr Erdogan reviles Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

He has not yet formally finished forgiving the loan of $45 million he gave to hiscampaign...

Of the money Trump has raised, $24 million or so came from small donors, and a little over $5 million from maxed-out donors. About half has been his own money. But even of that money from Trump, those aren’t outright donations — those are loans. Trump said earlier this summer he would forgive those loans and not expect to be paid back, but that’s not a done deal, and the campaign has yet to provide any proof that the loans were forgiven. Either way, Trump is still relying on big donors, including casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and mall developer Diane Hendricks.

Wait... you mean... he isn't a straight shooter... the problem is sort of that a lot of people are sitting on the fence.

Trump forgave his loans in his last FEC filing. I don't think there's any way for him to just take the money he's raising. He's feeding some back through renting his own properties for events, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to what he spent out of pocket.

Spending on ads wouldn't do a hell of a lot until he stops fucking up catastrophically on a near daily basis.

He's spent something like 20% of his total campaign funds, roughly $11MM, on goods and services provided by companies he owns. that must be a yuge bucket.

I got that from a 'fact checking' column that was put up August 8th. not a good look if that fact checker is wrong. :dh:

i forgot how much progress brunettes have made in the last 20 years in the field of "saying really dumb things about politics on TV". sarah palin, this lady, i mean even katrina pierson! i apologize to brunettes everywhere who spout inane bullshit to the 55+ white crowd. i shouldn't have diminished their great accomplishment.
