I'm not sure who gave her a 'free pass'. The emails are constantly brought up. I also don't see how one has to do with the other.

There were 3 emails improperly and obscurely marked as confidential. The State Department has said that two of them shouldn't even have been marked as such. So there was one email out of tens of thousands during her time at State which had a "(c)" -- which is the lowest level of classification --marked on one of the paragraphs on one email for which there is no evidence it ever reached the hands of the bad guys.

Yeah, I give her a pass for that.

As for finger-wagging Dems, it seems to be the Conservatives do a lot of finger wagging themselves: No abortion, no gay marriage, no bathrooms for the transgendered, no Muslims, no legalization for illegals, etc., etc. There's a lot of it going around.

Joy Reid suspects this Ms McIver is made up.

"Recognize that this is a very famous book -- 'Rules for Radicals' -- and on the dedication page, you acknowledge Lucifer in an admirable way saying he's the original radical who gained his own kingdom," Carson told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day." "What I am saying is that we are talking about electing to the presidency an individual who embraces someone who obviously is not someone who is consistent."

Was Carson talking about Clinton or Trump who embraces someone "inconsistent"?

From Trump:

On Kim Jong Un:
"You gotta give him credit," Trump said.

"How many young guys — he was, like, 26 or 25 when his father died — take over these tough generals, and all of a sudden ... he goes in, he takes over, and he's the boss," Trump said. "It's incredible. He wiped out the uncle, he wiped out this one, that one. I mean, this guy doesn't play games. And we can't play games with him."

On Bashar al-Assad:
"I think in terms of leadership, he's getting an A and our president is not doing so well," Trump said of al-Assad during an interview with Fox News in September.

On Muammar Gaddafi:
"We would be so much better off if Gaddafi were in charge right now. If these politicians went to the beach and didn't do a thing and we had Saddam Hussein and if we had Gadhafi in charge, instead of having terrorism all over the place, we'd be — at least they killed terrorists, all right? And I'm not saying they were good, because they were bad, they were really bad, but we don't know what we're getting," he said.

On Saddam Hussein:
"We shouldn't have been there. We shouldn't have destabilized Saddam Hussein, right. He was a bad guy, really bad guy. But you know what he did well? He killed terrorists," Trump said. "He did that so good. They didn't read them the rights. They didn't talk. They were terrorists. Over. Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism. You want to be a terrorist, you go to Iraq. It's like Harvard, OK? So sad, so sad."

On Vladimir Putin:
"He's running his country and at least he's a leader, unlike what we have in this country."

Well I was saying not even people on the democrat side is really blaming her. Everyone is just assuming she's an idiot put up there to look pretty and say whatever people put in front of her. And she seems to be completely ok with that.

Someone (hopefully Crist) floated Charlie Crist as a possible VP pick for Clinton.

If we're going to do that can we just pick Tim Kaine instead?

Political prisoners in Turkey are being denied access to lawyers and family.

Wikileaks was blocked.

60,000 suspended or detained.

113 judges arrested, including 2 from the highest court.

here's a good read

Pac, although many people from any Democratic country would be outraged by this, you fail to take into account that most Turks are pro-Erdogan as well as his actions.

I realize there's a desire to create a Turkey that isn't pro-Islam and pro-Democracy but it's simply not the case. These people are not upset over this. They agree with it.

On the one hand, there's a zero percent chance of this happening.

On the other, if you bet on "the thing likeliest to piss me off" happening throughout this election cycle you'd be rich right now.

I take it you didn't read the article. It weaves through the dynamic of Turkish identity, Erdogan's popularity and Syrian refugees.

So are we to surmise that Meredith Mciver doesn't exist
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?
