Random threts, what do they post? Do they post things?

Day 8 of poison Ivy/oak/sumac or whatever mutant thing is in the backyard.

It has almost completely assimilated itself to my limbs. It is now slowly taking over my trunk. It shouldn't be long now till I'm one complete blister. I may have to amputate a limb or two in hopes that the spread can be maintained. If I survive it will be at the expense of being horribly mutilated. I do hope most people will be kind.

It might as well be hogweed

is twitter super dumb now? my mobile app stopped working. i chalked that up to my old ass phone. now on the web version, the tweets aren't in any sequential order. the first tweet i see is from 19 hours ago, then one from 24 hours ago, then 45 minutes and so on.

but seriously, think of the tie-ins they could sell. "Special Pokeys ONLY found inside Citizens Bank Park!" etc.

I mean the easiest thing to do would be to have an employee spam lures at a pokestop outside of where ever.

It shouldn't be spreading after the first two days. You should wash in hot water anything that possibly came in contact with the oils, as the oils will remain until cleaned. That includes shoes, belts, wallet, towels, gloves, yard clippers, sheets, towels, etc. Use soap to clean under your fingernails. You also shouldnt avoid scrubbing in the shower thinking that will spread the rash; you need to make sure that all oils are off your body.

If you remember, I got Poison Ivy from weeding last Sunday, too. My ankles are covered, my right forarm was about 25% covered, and then I had a few other patches elsewhere on my legs and arms. I went to a physician on Thursday and they recommended benedryl/Zyrtec to reduce my body's response to the oil. They also prescribed Prednisone. That Thursday night was the first night I slept through straight. If your rash is still bad, I would make an appt with a physician. It shouldn't still be getting worse, 8 days later. My huge rash on my forearm is basically a large, thin scab now.

Thanks werthless. I was careful to scrub my arms after I realized there was contact. Its not my first poison run in and certainly won't be the last.

I already threw a zpack at it with ivarest cream. I'm now onto prednisone and bethamethasone cream. This normally as a last resort will stop the rash in my experience. I am about to go scrub again since I found a couple new spots this morning which is 8 days after exposure. Come to think of it my trimmer is probably covered in urishiol. :/

Sorry for all the explanation of stuff you already knew. I hadn't had poison ivy in a while, so I had didn't really remember how/what causes it to spread. I did a lot of laundry on Tuesday when it first starting breaking out, and I've been lucky to be healing since Thursday (and not had any new breakouts after the initial wave). Wednesday and Thursday were pretty miserable when I was relying on Calamine and hydrocortisone.

yeah they changed their algorithms and fucked up everyone's timelines. lots of ppl were complaining that they hated having it be non-chronological now. no idea if they fixed it, i mostly read twitter on my phone and they haven't fucked that up yet. i would recommend tweetdeck or something but i know you prolly can't use that at work

You're all good! I appreciate the sentiment. It got me to go scrub again just in case and made me realize there is probably oil residue on a couple other things.

Something definitely reaggravated it after about 4 or 5 days. Its probably the worst I ever had it. It feels a tad better tonight after a day or so of the prednisone and steroid cream.
