I had impetigo once as a kid. That was nasty and gross. Smaller spot than poison rashes normally but those sores actually bubble and shit.

would like it if we could change names more easily on here. feel like people wouldn't fall into their normal routines with each other, wouldn't have years of pre-conceived opinions attached to various posters. wouldn't mind changing my name to pussyslayer69 or something else cool.

On the old board, we used to be able to change our names as much as and when ever we wanted to. Then some asshole (me) started changing his username to recently vacated usernames. The curmudgeons who ran the old board put a stop to that

Damn I need to check this thread more. You are still dealing with this shit? That Avon stuff you told me about is good stuff. I thought I was going to have a bad episode but it never happened. Hope you get better soon. Dealing with poison is basically torture.

Damn I need to check this thread more. You are still dealing with this shit? That Avon stuff you told me about is good stuff. I thought I was going to have a bad episode but it never happened. Hope you get better soon. Dealing with poison is basically torture.

Yes tm will be day 9. Today was better sleep last night finally ok. For whatever reason I still have a few newish spots still showing. I've scrubbed and scrubbed washed everything and haven't had contact since it happened.

I think I inhaled the vapor though
I'm thinking that's why its so nasty. I feel like shit and the steroids don't help that. Hopefully tomorrow is better than today.

Cause after my zpack and 2 days of prednisone I feel like a bloated dishrag. I had to call it a day early today and am now Just vegging out. I don't remember feeling this much like hole from steroids before.

In good news Day 9 of poison looks like the turning point. No new bumps and it is certainly drying out. Less itchy too. No amputation needed. Mutilation minimal.

I didnt notice a change. Due to the alleviation of the symtoms, I felt much better overall. I did eat a lot of cookies and gained a few pounds last week, but that might not be related to the prednisone.

Sorry to hear you're having such a rough go of it.
