Sit-in spin: Getting dizzy with politics

This is just another step in the decline of the British stiff upper lip. It used to be "Keep calm and carry on," then it was "keep calm, but we're going to have to tear apart your luggage and enact ridiculous freedom-sucking anti-terrorist legislation," and now it's "OMG, IMMIGRANTS! Let's undermine our economy and Europe's stability."

Fucking sad is what it is. All we need now is a Trump win and we got the English speaking pussy trifecta. Things fall apart when your main motivation for doing everything is fear. I hope it's worth keeping out the scary immigrants. Oh wait, this won't do that either. Fearmongering lying at its best.

Northern Ireland voted to remain.

There is one way they could, you know.

Hmm.

Once I heard yesterday that registrations to vote had reached a record high, I knew they were leaving. People didn't run out to register because they were highly emotional about remaining in the EU. The EU ain't that kind of thing.

he simply said we must defeat Trump, previously. this is the first time he's said he's FOR Clinton explicitly.

I'll take you at your word, but I thought he had made a statement a week or so ago saying he'd vote for her. Either way, it's irrelevant. Bernie is, in fact, going to stand by his word and help Clinton. Color me shocked.

Enjoy the British exit from the EU.

The EU overextended themselves badly. If they had stuck with economics and economics only, it would have been successful.

They have been trying to build an Army, they have a liaison office in the SHAPE HQ in Mons, Belgium.

I think there will be an avalanche of other countries voting on EU membership now. The UK was in the middle of the pack about staying or leaving...not a good sign for the rest of Europe and those sweating allegiance to the EU.

If it weren't for the fact that the vote appears to be driven by no small amount of racism, I could accept the notion that the EU's democratic deficit is a problem that simply cannot be solved. So, you could say the British have rejected being governed by a an elite of unelected bureaucrats in favor of a representative democracy. And that's a defensible position. If it weren't for all the racism.

But remember, there's a lot of hostility towards the EU through Europe. Greece, France, the Netherlands....

Watch the volitility index to see how the market plays out. It was @ almost 40%. The VIX is a fear index, and trends opposite the market. The higher the VIX, the lower the market. Right now it is a hockey stick. Look at a 1 day view.

If it says 'chart not available, it is because it is bouncing too fast to graph.

1. Any chance that some portion of the US looks at and understands the parallels between the Exit Vote and Trump message underpinnings?

2. The decline of the empire is now complete (however watch for recall votes to reclaim the colonies and rule the high seas).

3. What should have been expected? <see picture below>

Seriously, same people. What could possibly have gone wrong?
