I'm finally making a return in September, told them to hang on a little longer. I just wanna cook with my grandma and play backgammon with grandpa one last time. I'm terrible at offering sympathy in a way that doesn't feel trite, fake, or just unsympathetic, especially in the written word. TD I hope you, and Ed, and anyone else forced to walk through a shitty part of life make it to the other side without having to buy new shoes.

did some research on this stuff earlier today. They are beginning construction work this month and the falls Bridge is closing for about a month in February. Can't wrap my brain around the Walnut Lane Bridge though, seems like a cool bridge. Why are they closing it? What happens to the area around it?

edit: oh i see, closed for 6 months starting in the spring.

Walnut Lane bridge was originally supposed to close 2 years ago for emergency repairs. It didn't happen, and then they waited til now. It's very old and beat up.

What do you mean what happens to the surrounding areas, like detours?
