I heard about it on some NPR show maybe summer of 2014. First time I'd heard of it and still hasn't ever bothered me.

Actually I don't think I have any friends who do this. Maybe my subconscious hates it too.

One of my SIL definitely does the vocal fry with a little bit of valley girl. It's, it's not good.

Moved from Manhattan up to Port Chester. Digging it so far. Commute into Grand Central isn't so bad. Worst part has been getting Verizon installed. Worst interaction I've ever had with a company. First tech broke the fiber optic cable. Said a contractor needed to come out to rerun the wire. 8 days later I've had 3 other techs show up who all say a contractor needs to show up, yet no contractor. Finally called tonight and cancelled.

My mother in law is Polish, they make a sauerkraut (or plain cabbage) based dish called kapusta which is the kraut plus bacon, ham or pork, mushrooms, onion and garlic or some variation of those ingredients. That is what you put on a kielbasa sandwich along with some mustard or horseradish

i just use mustard for my kielbasa. not a huge sauerkraut fan(turning in my polish card after this post). my old coworker would make like 40lbs of fresh and 40lbs of smoked kielbasa every year. hands down the best kielbasa i've ever had. gonna have to get the recipe from him and start making my own.

made a good pasta dish with kielbasa and broccoli the other night though.

Was thinking pepper and onions or mustard...maybe all three? Love the smell of sauerkraut but not the taste
