House of Commons is debating live whether or not to ban trump from the UK. Wildly entertaining.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Their system is pretty good sometimes. They literally have to debate something if it gets enough public backing

Trump is probably in the back of his campaign plane jerking off whilst streaming this.

Sorry to see O'Malley be completely invisible again last night. A much better "anyone but Clinton" option to me.

Sanders could be the one politician in our lifetimes who, were he elected POTUS, might actually look younger at the end of his term(s)

When I saw the side by side pictures of Obama at his first and last State of the Union addresses, the first thing I thought was what Sanders would look like after 8 years of being president. Jesus, imagine Trump after 8 years. He'd probably just get a ton of work done.

The RNC severed ties with NBC and won't hold the scheduled Feb 26 debate because their feelings were hurt by CNBC

tbf, one big difference is Obama stopped dying his hair. he was clearly been dying it since the mid-2000s. he looks much skinnier, though. like scrawny.

I disagree, but more importantly, who gets his 3% if he should bow out? Endorsements be damned, according to polling that could be the difference..

The only likable candidate is unelectable Bernie Sanders. Trump is still wildly unliked. Cruz is still more conservative than Barry Goldwater.

Holy hell, how can anyone see the way these babies act and think they'd be a good president?

I didn't watch it, but from what I read, the FOX Capitalism is Great channel debate or whatever was a joke. Candidates dodged questions they didn't want to answer and the moderators didn't bother to press them on it at all. Multiple candidates trying to talk over each other with no control from the moderators. I guess it makes sense since any sort of moderation in these debates just ends up being turned around on them as being part of the "biased media". You know it's bad when Megyn Kelly is accused of being biased against GOP candidates.

What do these guys(and Carly) think is going to happen once they're in office and trying to do a diplomacy with other foreign leaders? None of them can handle the least bit of criticism with grace and none of them seem to want to talk about the economy at all, but hey, let's vote 'em in. Make America great again, we can fix it, etc...

It's the type of debate that is held when you don't believe in government.

I finally watched the Dem debate(on delay on my day off because I'm super cool) and it seemed like both HRC and Bernie are confident. I'm not really sure what that means, but neither felt the need to press or attack each other. To use a SPORTS METAPHOR it was like 2 soccer teams playing each other who were happy for a 0-0 draw. I guess Bernie's people are happy with the recent poll improvements and HRC thinks she can carry the votes based on her record. It was interesting that neither candidate seemed to press to "win" the debate, though.

Agreed, although they definitely threw a couple of searching jabs at each other. I would imagine that if Sanders manages wins both IA and NH, Hillary will start throwing hay-makers with both hands. I am probably WAY off base but I was a little surprised how much time Hillary spent on Obama's coattails Sunday night. I realize she is playing to the Dem base but I feel like more and more people are getting tired of the same old, same old, regardless of the party. Now Sanders did not exactly run from Obama but he at least sounded like his own man most of the time (for good or ill).

known liberal!

i love that reason he dislikes Cruz is because Cruz supports one massive subsidy to a set of corporations (oil) while he supports a completely different massive subsidy to a different set of corporations (ethanol/corn). pathetic

Faded reactionary bimbo Palin endorses Turnip and dipshits like Mark Halperin & Chuck Todd are calling the nomination - not merely Iowa - for Turnip.

Sure, it appears for all the world like the R party is dissolving like an oatmealy dump under an urgent piss, but there are still plenty of people who count themselves Rs who have a smidge of intelligence and/or self-respect

Debt is exploding again this year because of fiscally conservative Republicans.
