when Jeb says he listens to his brother he means he listens to Wolfowitz and it's gonna be great to be in a 30 year war with Iran.

This checks pretty much every box. Anti-mainstream media, anti-Clinton, major MSM outlet doing things they'd castigate others for doing in leaking the story. Not Dan Rather, but still this story has given me a lot of joy today.

Gotta say I've never thought of Stephanopolous as anything like a journalist or as other than completely in the bag for Clintonco
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Clinton Friend’s Libya Role Blurs Lines of Politics and Business - Blumenthal's work for Hillary at State paid for in part by the Clinton Foundation, full of unreliable intel but shared with top State Dept staff, motivated in part by Blumenthal's business interests, end around necessary since the Obama administration had blocked Blumenthal from State. Good stuff from the NYT.

I will fully cop to that being some false equivalency bullshit but still it's funny you keep trying to twist the knife on that one considering how spend happy you are about campaign financing in general

The GOP has identified the Clinton Foundation as a target for their brand of gotcha politics. They'll pound away at any story related to that group, truth or not, until most people think the foundation is some kind of front for financing terrorists or some such thing. Of course, both parties do this to some degree. What makes the GOP special is their willingness to make things up out of nowhere and stick to it even when all the evidence (and their own investigations) say it's not true. Their singlemindedness is admirable, I suppose. It's definitely effective.

I imagine none of you actually read the story because it's not about money in politics...certainly not the type y'all are implying anyhow.

If anyone wants to explain how supporting or opposing Citizens United has even the tiniest bit to do with this, I'm all ears.

It most certainly is about the corruption of money but I wouldn't assume you to figure it out, or care. You regularly have backed outside interests lobbying all sorts of influence on our government. Here you raise your ire for whatever reason.

From what I can tell it says little about Clinton, anyway. It's a dead end. But keep trying.

The problem, of course, is that people believe it if they hear it enough. And once people believe something, it's very difficult to change their mind, even if they are confronted with complete proof that it's incorrect.

They probably saw how much good the Foundation is doing and are now trying to turn a positive into a negative (disclaimer: I have no idea what the foundation does)

She definitely wants to be prez. Damn her ambition! Weird that her desire to be prez is mentioned constantly, but I don't hear it that much about the others in the race. By all accounts, she was a hardworking senator who didn't expect anything to be given to her during her time in the Senate. Anyone who wants to be prez is a career climber. It's the ultimate ego trip. Why aren't you questioning Jeb's long time desire to be prez?

I'm not going to make a case for her. I'll vote for her in the general if it comes to it, but I'm not a fan of her corporate or financial industry ties.
