Teh Google sez you can download PDFs of their financial reports from the website.

According to a story on The Weekly Standard listing the Clinton Foundation salaries, about $3 million is spent on salaries; Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea do not draw salaries (they're paid $0).

IIRC, most of the money (that isn't pledged for a specific cause) isn't given away (grants, etc.) but is directly spent on fulfilling the programs and efforts.

There wasn't even a Democrat running in my township's supervisor race. At least there's a tomato can running in Philly.

I assume that's considered spring twp.? You'd probably enjoy doing it, should've actually ran. I've considered running in the past, but doesn't make much sense for me at this point. The three guys on now are pretty good IMO anyway.

When people list their favorite things, they often forget "griping." But it is honestly one of humanity's most favorite activities. Sure beats the hell out of voting, or participating, or attempting to do anything to change anything.

This strategy has yet to work for them, yet they keep doing it.

grad student researcher shown to have falsified data regarding how easily swayable people are on the topic of marriage equality. two other UC Berkley grad students figured it out by doing their own investigation!

Green said two University of California-Berkeley graduate students who had attempted their own research “brought to my attention a series of irregularities that called into question the integrity of the data we present.”

When Green’s co-author, Michael LaCour, was shown the information, Green said he could not provide the survey data he claimed to have collected. Nor would LaCour provide “the contact information of survey respondents so their participation in the survey could be verified…,” Green said.

Green then requested the retraction. His memo is appended at the bottom of the paper in which the Berkeley researchers and their professor at Stanford, David Brockman, reported what they called “a number of irregularities” in the Science data.

“I am deeply embarrassed by this turn of events and apologize to the editors, reviewer, and readers of Science,” Green wrote at the conclusion of his memo. He also listed the paper as “retracted by Donald Green” on his curriculum vitae.

The study attracted widespread attention in part because it seemed to fly in the face of conventional wisdom and scholarship about how people cling to their own points of view, sometimes regardless of what they read or hear to the contrary.

“One conversation can change minds on same-sex marriage, study finds,” was the headline in The Washington Post reporting the conclusions in December

ISIL has taken over Palmyra in Syria, which could put at risk a LOT of historical landmarks. Overall ISIS is faltering in the rest of the country and epecially in Iraq. Still, this is a bad setback.

i mean, i've said in the past i wouldn't reauthorize but he's not really filibustering. the vote will happen at 1pm. he would've been required to stop talking, so it's not really a real filibuster. it was just a really long speech. Paul's done this before and we erroneously called it a filibuster. Sanders did one that wasn't a real one. the new bill IS better than the old one, though. it requires a court order...the problem is it's a rubberstamp court. it'd be nice if we reformed THAT. since we aren't, i'm not for the bill.

*nitpick*
