My dad drinks Dewar's White Label w/ ice as his standard spirits drink. I imagine it is their cheapest option because he is not wealthy and sometimes consumes a lot of it. How classy is this friend of yours? Why do you need to buy them a bottle?

I'm rot really into blondes for the most part. I'm not really into female comedians too much either, but Chelsea handler became what I thought would be the exception... However for some strange reason I have a thing for amy schumer that defies all of azrider's logic.

i imagine he's a pretty affluent dude. My buddy sells backhoes, and he's sending this guy (who is his sales manager) by my house to dig the trench for my drain line, since he is the guy that always deals with the smaller backhoes and is always running them back and forth to customers. it will probably take him more time to unload and load the machine on the trailer than to dig the trench, but i think i should give him something since he doesn't even know me.

Yeah, the Dewar's White Label is probably what they're used to. If you wanted to go a step up, you could go to their 12-year bottle. I don't drink many (okay, any) blended Scotch Whiskys, but Master of Malt , which is a good site thinks reasonably highly of it. If he's going to mix it with more than a modicum of water the difference will be pretty much lost, but you could stand out for your generosity. No way I'd go for any of their higher end products, though.

Pretty sure we've got a couple orientals, some catholics and more than few jews. Irish too.

Hm I'm not sure if this is directed at me, but middle aged people not having great financial security bums me out.

No it wasn't at you. I did read the "civil" thread. The people that would be the first to preach kumbaya are the first to personally attack. Shouldn't have even read any of that thread. Most people in that thread shouldn't probably even talk about the stuff they are discussing.
