I've met Tom Cotton. He's creepy and weird in person. Like the kind of person you'd think could be a serial killer weird.

No, he didn't need any encouragement. Read this article from last September. The guy has been waiting his whole life for this moment.

The guy is scary because he genuinely believes he's destined to rule, entitled to be in charge. Smart yet ignoring that despite his military propers he's just some dipshit from Arkansas ( sorry TV & General Gut)

No doubt you'd feel better about it if they did it through a super pac with 100 million dollars or so... because then they'd be exercising their free speech.

lol, the fact that you would try to equate the two situations may be the largest contortion of reality I've ever seen from you. You used to be good at this. I guess it must be harder and harder to find justifications for things as the GOP moves further and further into crazyland, but I didn't think you'd fall this far. Really, maybe you should stick to baseball threads.

I agree it's disrespectful and gross of the senators to write that letter that isn't even correct about our system of governance.

If you're opposed to the death penalty then you're opposed to the death penalty, but if you're in favor of the death penalty then why wouldn't you be in favor of a method that's virtually instantaneous?

I wasn't debating the merits of various ways the state chooses to murder people. They're doing this because they can't actually murder people without hurting them (except for that death part) via the coktail anymore. I'm just highlighting that we're really stepping up our murder game. It warms my heart.

Iraq retook Tikrit. ISIL had to retreat with their tails tucked between their legs.

Looks like the 2003 Joe Biden plan may play out. An Iran-dominated Shia region, a Kurd region, and a Sunni region.
