Nice to hear the historical revisionist/cheerleader viewpoint. A refreshing break from all the predictable sane folks.

I'd love old Joe to pledge to go live where I grew up right now - and stay there when, in the frack-happy world he yearns for, his water supply starts yielding bubbling crude, his "insurable risk" shoved firmly up his chancred asshole.

He's treating a threat to the single most valuable resource in the Universe to life as we know it as a "manageable" insurance risk. Hard to find a more shortsighted, parochial view towards the calculus of life versus short-term economic gain.

And of course, with oil prices plummeting, fracking operations are being cut back everywhere. Shouldn't these patriots be just as committed to energy independence even when they're not making a killing?

I know the answer, but the intentional obfuscation of motives they shill always annoys me. And the pleated skirts.

Lol

One thing that's really needed in the 'first world' of Europe is stopping this stupid austerity.

Personally, I'm against this whole socialist notion that people who lend money to others should made whole by taxpayers when their bets go bad.

It begins:
HARRISBURG — The Republican majority in the Pennsylvania Senate is suing Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf over his firing of his predecessor's appointee as head of the state Office of Open Records.

The lawsuit filed Monday in Commonwealth Court said Republican Gov. Tom Corbett's appointee, Erik Arneson, is entitled to serve a full six-year term and that Wolf illegally terminated him without cause.

The lawsuit seeks to restore Arneson as the agency's executive director and declarations that Wolf violated the state Right-to-Know Law and the state constitution.

Corbett appointed Arneson one week before Wolf was sworn in as governor. Wolf ousted him and named the agency's deputy director as its acting chief pending a search for a full-time director.

Wolf defended his action by saying Corbett's 11th-hour appointment lacked transparency.

I used to find Palin annoying and a sad reflection of the state of our politics, but now I see her as a non-stop source of entertainment. Be crazy, Sarah, I love it!

the law in Mississippi says teachers cannot teach about condoms or safe sex; Mississippi has the highest rate of teen pregnancy.

this teacher got around it by discussing proper SHOE ACTIVITY
