It must be hard work keeping the bitter turned up to 11 all the time.

If seeing Mitt Romney as something less than a great human being is being bitter then, no, it's not hard at all. In fact, it's very freeing. You should try it.
Pennsylvania state Treasurer Rob McCord, a Democrat who ran unsuccessfully for governor last year, resigned abruptly on Friday and said he would plead guilty to federal campaign finance charges.
Federal investigators were looking into allegations that McCord solicited campaign contributions in exchange for official acts, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The probe has been going on for several months.
McCord’s attorney, Robert Welsh, said in a statement that McCord would admit to campaign finance violations.
“Mr. McCord will be pleading guilty to certain federal charges to be filed arising out of his attempts in the spring of 2014 to raise campaign contributions from two potential contributors by communicating that if they failed to make campaign contributions, he could make it difficult for them to do business with the Commonwealth,” Welsh said in a statement. “Immediately upon being contacted by federal agents about these matters, Mr. McCord acknowledged that he had overstepped the line of legitimate political fundraising.”

I think it's kinda weird that your initial reaction to the words Mitt Romney is to say he despises half the country because that's a dumb thing to think. But it's the Internet.
