My inlaws got in last night. They are kind of driving me nuts, I have to work today and I don't think they get that I am working, my father in law wants to hang hooks in the basement for something or other and keeps coming in and asking me where this tool is where that tool is etc. my mother in law needs me to run out to get more butter. Oh and they are sleeping on an air mattress in the living room and like to go to bed at 9. Family makes holidays a real pain in the ass.

glad my parents and my in-laws both live 20 minutes away in opposite directions. they have no excuses to stay over.

My door is shut, but they just don't get the concept of working from home. My fil just retired as a machinist and mil works in a hospital, wfh doesn't exist in their worlds.

My in-laws arrived yesterday, leaving Sunday. Trying to invite themselves to my grandmother's dinner... Awkward.

Fixin to go grab some Christmas Eve Chinese food. Been telling myself I'm gonna order something I've never tried before bu I'm pretty sure I'll just end up getting beef and broccoli, General Tso's, or boneless pork rib and a dish of chicken chow mei fun.
