Did some Christmas shopping today, got to the register and saw some BIG LEAGUE CHEW. I knew they still made the stuff, but can't remember the last time I actually saw any. Unfortunately they only had the original flavor. Anyway, bought me a pack, got back to the car, opened that sumbitch up and threw in a chaw. Anyone remember Gatorade gum? That stuff was awesome and they need to bring that back.

When did "have a safe <insert holiday here>" become the norm? Seems weird. Not that I have anything against safety, but you never wish someone "have a safe day" so why "have a safe and merry Christmas" or whatever?

That store was Zayre, which went out of business 20 yrs ago. I've been there many times.
