Can't say that to America's youth

I would've just read the first two and left the 3rd one ungraded. But you were wrong for expecting the student to read the instructions. (My dad claims that when he was in college he once had a test where buried in the instructions (which were apparently lengthy and obvious) it said, "You don't have to take this test" and no one in the class read that far--everyone took the test.

Preach. Loving the new flavored sunflower seeds that have popped up lately. Original is still my fav, but I like changing it up with some chili line or ranch, gonna try the hot and spicy and jalapeño salsa next.

I'm with the professor on the career advice. I hate whining, and reading directions is important, but that's kind of an unattractive chip you have on your shoulder there.

Is your role to be a martinet, or to see if there's a way to elicit some signs of learning from students? Girl did EXTRA work (sure, the instructions didn't ask her to) & you're penalizing her for it (and yeah, you ARE penalizing her, unless I'm missing something about your scoring system)?
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

SRLSY? I thought they were boutique items...

nah, but in earnestness, i'm trying to avoid convenience stores right now. Can't make it past the tastykake aisle. And buying in bulk will force me to eat them all. i've been meaning to pick up a sunflower seed habit and this just pushed me to do it. healthy snack, and hopefully will lead me to avoid less healthy alternatives.
