i think like 20 minutes is more than enough to wait for someone to take their clothes out of the dryer, then just place them on top. my floor was a pain in the ass, if you didn't move clothes out someone else was just going jump in ahead of you. folding someone else's clothes in this situation is batshit

scheduling my surgery today. hoping i can get in this week. gallbladder has been in constant pain/discomfort for a few days now.

I'd be pretty weirded out if someone folded my clothes in that situation.
Which is kinda funny because I've been dropping my laundry off ever since I moved to NY. So someone's been folding my clothes for 8 years.

One time, after they had been sitting there awhile, I took my sister's wet clothes from the washing machine and instead of being a passive aggressive douche like I usually was (am) and leaving them in a pile on top of the dryer I actually put them in the dryer for her. Evidently, by doing so, I ruined something and my sister was furious with me. No one in my family saw my side of things and so I would never put someone's wet laundry in the dryer.

i've folded roommate laundry before. i think he got pissed i did it so i'll never do it again. i don't even like moving roommates stuff from one machine to the next. fortunately everyone is on the same page with respects to laundry and keeps stuff moving in a timely fashion.
