Doesn't give you permission to be a dickhead. Now if you made several trips to the drier and one was full every time, I guess you can dump it. But if you're not sure, fold it.

What's the difference between clothes sitting in the dryer and sitting on top of the dryer? Do they get extra wrinkled sitting on top? Why should someone who is trying to do their own laundry have to fold someone else's clothes because they were too lazy or selfish to come and get them when they were finished drying?

They could just keep the clothes.

That makes me wonder--do you kids have some high tech way for paying for laundry or do you still have to scrounge up a bunch of quarters?

I suppose if they wipe down the top of the dryer it's fine. I would fold them anyway though if they were guys. If they were girls, I probably wouldn't touch them at all.

you really expect people to make "multiple trips" if there are driers that are available, but have clothes in them?

A handful of times my wet clothes would be sitting on top of a dryer. Whatever human would do that was a real piece of shit.

ATM-> change machine or I go into the bank for a roll of quarters. Really wish I could set up an account and pay electronically though

My previous apartment complex had a debit card thing you filled up for the laundry. That was pretty handy I guess. Have my own washer and dryer now. Movin' on up.

I think you should give people a bit of a break and give them an extra hour to get their clothes, but then you have to just put them on top. obviously you wipe it first. sometimes the next person needs some laundry and asking for folding is crazy. where are they even supposed to put the folded clothes?

Yeah, if I could have figured out who did that I would gladly have taken a dump in their laundry

I always get my laundry within 15 minutes, usually before the dryer timer is done.

One time though, somebody had already put my stuff on top of the dryer, unfolded, before the time the full dryer run would have ended. That persons clothes mysteriously ended up in the lint trash can.

I drop off my clothes at the laundromat in the morning and pick them up at night. It costs me 20 buck a week but it's well worth it.

Ya gotta laugh at the saggy pants people since they're oblivious to the origin. Most probably make the prison association and assume it means badass (no belts in prison), but that's the wrong prison connection... in prison culture, saggy pants = advertising for prison butt sex as the submissive.

yesterday kinda sucked. The prayer service at the funeral started with the pastor mispronouncing my cousin's name and then saying at least three times "I didn't know him but uh...I was told he really liked the eagles." Someone read something his brother (who is in prison) wrote. It was the most introspective, thoughtful thing I've ever heard from a recovering heroin addict with multiple felony charges. That's kinda what finally made it sink in. I had been in such hardcore denial mode I kept forgetting about it even during the service. I kept having to remind myself why everyone was so sad. Fucking weird.
