Back door of our 2003 Altima was frozen shut this morning. Pulled on the handle trying to open it and broke the handle clean off. This is the second time this has happened

As others have noted, I had to get my windshield replaced a few years ago and it was about $250 for safe lite to come out and do it at my house. As for not getting it replaced, consider when you are going to get a new car vs when you need to get your car inspected. I lived with my cracked windshield for about a year and then finally got it replaced before I had to get it inspected. Not sure about PA, but I think you can get an obstructed view ticket in other states for a cracked windshield.

I get employee pricing through Apple's website, so I was trying to buy a new iPad this morning and my debit card was declined. I called my bank and they told me I have a $500 limit on my debit card and it cannot be raised until my account has been open for a year. What the hell is that? So now I've gotta put it on a credit card instead of paying cash, I don't like that.

Both my doors wouldn't open last night. Had to bust out the WD-40 from my trunk and pry my one door open with my keychain bottle opener. Made me feel almost like a man. "Almost" because a real man would have pulled the handle right off.

Don't any of you have garages? I mean we have a tiny garage, that's full of junk, but if it's gonna snow I'll get one car in there. Makes crappy mornings so much better.

This happened after work. And my brother parks in the garage.

you know why, i'm sure, because massive fraud to one's checking account can be much more damaging that to one's credit accounts. My account is with your new employer and I think my limit is still $500. And I've had this account for 30 years!! Of course, this is the 5th or 6th bank who has owned the account though.

The solution (at least my solution) is a rewards credit card that you pay in full every month. I pay pretty much everything (including bills) with it. Pretty soon I'm gonna be up to a full mortgage payment knocked off at the end due to rewards from that card.
