Spitzer looks like he's an underdog right now. Lhota looks like he will win comfortably.

I think Spitzer is cooked. Down four points with about 80 in. I'll admit I voted for him, somewhat on the principle that when every single interest group is against a candidate, there's a solid chance the general public would benefit from their service. Also because Scott Stringer has that Karl Rove late-middle-age baby face thing, which freaks me the fuck out.

Runoff in the NYC public advocate race. If there's no runoff in the mayoral, turnout will be comically low. Nobody knows what the job is anyway, though with de Blasio about to jump to the big job people will value it.

Democratic Colorado State Senate President getting recalled for passing gun control, and he had a 61% Obama district

DeBlasio's daughter both incredibly impressive and fucking terrifying.

The second Colorado recall also looks like it's been successful. This time in a 58% district. Always and forever, let this be a lesson to people bitching about the NRA and its power. It comes down to voters. The anti-recall people were very well funded. Didn't matter in two heavily Obama (though not Denver area Dem) districts.
