Funny or not funny?

A friend of mine who works for a magazine is "going to interview a chocolate researcher" and is soliciting his Facebook friends for suggestions on questions.

I want to post, "Scott, I believe they prefer to be called African Americans."

His page is irreverent, so that's not really a problem, but I want to make sure this amuses someone other than myself before I put it up, particularly since he has a wide following of non-mutual friends.
