the comment itself is at best really really dumb and at worst racist. a long time politician like mccain should know better than to call a brown person a monkey on twitter.
To be completely honest, I have never associated "monkey" as being a racist term re "brown people." I've associated it as a racist term in relation to African-Americans and Africans. I don't even know who qualifies as a "brown person". That's a weird term that doesn't even make sense to me. An Iranian is a "brown person"? Is there anything similar about the cultural experience of Iranians and Africans? That's news to me. Pakistani? Colombian?

yes, all of those people are brown, trent. hispanics, arabs, indians are generally considered brown. the british, during their 400 year oppression and occupation of india, would frequently use derogatory terms like "monkey"
my original post was just a "ha ha" at amash calling out mccain. i did not call mccain a racist.
jamie, brown people are allowed to call other brown people "monkey" (and in his native language it would not be considered an insult at all). just like black people can use the n-word and the rest of us can't.

In the future I will make sure to have long, well footnoted posts on this baseball message board - the zenith of human discourse - in response to every poor post any of you make, since this has troubled you all so much.

the multiplier should be slightly lowered. we also need to raise taxes. this is money owed.

Not really buying what you're selling but you're the same guy that doesn't seem troubled by Drudge posting pics of Obama, Stalin and Hitler above an article conflating the 3 of them, so I'm not surprised.

I agree with this. It will be, admittedly, a tough and painful renegotiation.

Well I'll never disagree with such an accurate characterization of 3 like minded individuals. Anyone care to join me in burning some flags and picketing funerals?
It's almost as if you have no idea what words mean. I called the post "insane" and you bring it up a month later as a mark against me with the recollection/translation I wasn't troubled by it.

Does PA allow double dipping--where you receive your pension from one state job and then take another state job simultaneously?
