Also, it took me several years to figure out that Hotwheels really don't have off road capability. However, if you have an area such as a porch or patio with a slate flagstones the spaces in between make a great street network.

Except your mom will yell at you and claim that leaving your cars out there could kill someone.

SPEAKING OF TRANSFORMERS RIPOFFS- I found a box of Starcom figures and vehicles at my parents' house the other day. Those things were cool. Magnets in the feet? How the fuck do those work?

my sister, cousin, and i used to set up big elaborate hot wheels tracks in my aunt and uncle's basement. i'm talking like 2-4 hours of setups for the tracks. we had about 3000 hot wheels between us. it's funny that i never even got remotely interested in cars after having around 1000 hot wheel cars.

I probably had about 30 Matchbox cases worth of cars. Those were great. They looked like jumbo lunchboxes and each car had its own basket and you could carry it around like a suitcase.

Me too. I know what my mom did with mine though. She gave them all to my nephews. Honestly, when it comes to stuff of mine from my childhood, the woman will ask me what I want done with the most worthless piece of shit stuff that I never cared about, but gives away my matchbox cars and NES (with all my games) without asking me.

The Matchbox cars are always the first to go.

It's as if moms all over the world are getting back at their sons for all the times they had to pick those damn things off the floor after we got done playing with them.

Gobots were released in the US first but Transformers were first in Japan
