Mine is actually a first generation one my aunt had bought and never used. Been thinking of replacing it with a new one that could possibly cook two burgers at once... luxury.

Does anyone know if they still make Matchbox cars?

I remember as a kid, one of my favorite things to do was save enough money and run to the local toy store and buy a brand new Matchbox car (at the time, they sold them in small yellow boxes).

My friend's little boy seems to love cars so I thought it'd be a good idea to buy him a few for Xmas.

it's a shame there's no big consolidated shopping site named after one of the biggest rivers in the world that you could easily search to find out

Loved Hot Wheels cars. Whenever my action figures had to go somewhere I'd cut to playing with Hot Wheels cars and then back to action figures once they got where they were going (usually my bedroom to the basement).

How old is the boy? If he's really small (say under 5) he may enjoy larger cars made by Corgi more.
