hookah lounges.... totally overrated. i'd sooner do crack in the backseat of a pontiac grand prix behind the am/pm on van buren with a prostitute and a tranny.

I didn't know hookah lounges were a thing. This place opened up in Lansdale that advertized hookahs and I was all WTF? and then it closed like three months later.

Well, I'm not reading the article. However, it strikes me that little has changed with hipsters over the last 30 years or so. We had lots of irony back then. And the fact that David Foster Wallace would be turning 50 soon if he weren't dead proves it. So, the real problem with hipsters is they're doing the same exact stuff hipsters did in the 80s.

No. Seriously, a hipster from the 80s transported in a time machine to 2012 would have no problem adapting, once they learned their way around Brooklyn. Anyway, my birthday's next week too.
