Fuck convenience, voting in person is great

Gonna walk over to the polls on Tuesday with my folks if it's nice out, chat with neighbors while in line, stop at PJ's on the way home for a beer and some wings, feel good about America and whatnot

Maybe the rest of the country will realize how much more convenient it is to vote by mail next cycle.

Might want to think on that, based on current methods of non-in-person voting anyway:

Reuters, in NYTimes wrote: Insight: Mail-In Ballots: The Hanging Chads of 2012?

...mail-in ballot voters who manage to get a ballot to election officials are about four times more likely to see their vote go uncounted as those who vote in person,[Charles Stewart III, co-director of the Voting Technology Project and a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor] calculates.

Add in the number of ballots never sent to voters who request them and ballots that don't make it to the polling station, and approximately one in five mail-in votes may be lost, Stewart says.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

If Obama wins VA by 3%+, it should be a quick night. If Romney wins VA by 3%+, it's a sign that the state polls might have #$!&@ up real bad. If it's inside that, then maybe whatever is happening state specific, and it could be a long night.

Romney might win VA, but it won't be by 3%+.

Thanks to their new "experimental" software, the votes in Ohio have already been tallied.

No, JH is right--though I voted early, I think polling places on election day should be community events--meet with your neighbors, have face painting for the kids, sell some funnel cakes.

Howard Fineman says the Dems want Ashley Judd to run against Mitch McConnell in 2014. That'd be something.

My father in law informed me Obama will eliminate healthcare for seniors and outsource the auto industry to China. Shaking things up for me at this most critical juncture

Pretty impressive how effective big lies can be.

in CT, at least this election year, it's a THROWdown (Murphy/McMahon)

in MO, for Akin, it's a shutdown

and don't even think of asking Scott Brown

Weird polls in PA and Michigan have it tied and Romney +1 respectively.

If they got rid of Tuesday as voting day, that would be more likely.
