hardcore BATTLESHIP... the POLITICS thread

Internal polls in general are better than public polls. But of course, when internal poll results are released or leaked to the public someone is doing it for a reason.

Also, landlines are pretty robust--more robust than electricity. Maybe response rates on polls will go up during the storm, as people will be so desperate for entertainment they'll be willing to talk to pollsters.

Minnesota Star Tribune poll Obama 47-Romney 44

Star Trib poll usually hates us too. Might be a thing.

Why doesn't Nate think so?

i think you just perfectly described our little subculture here

you want my opinion on your post?

Will it be as arrogant and aggressive as your standard post in response to someone disagreeing with you? Then no.

I hqve a feeling that many on this board will still have things to complain about. Even if Obama wins, the GOP will still influence the budgeting process . :/

if obama wins, it's very likely, almost 95+% that liberals will be tossed to the side with medicaid/medicare. SS

Yes. Low information voters... And there are plenty of others maybe not technically undecided that are weakly in support of a candidate that may change their minds. Your spouse loses their job, and you decide to vote Romney. Your friend convinces you that the Stimulus was too small, and explains that it was effective anyway, so you decide to vote Obama instead of voting for that other guy.

I know its funny to joke about undecideds being stupid nonexistent, but most normal people don't discuss politics on messageboards.

yea, what a huuuuuge difference.

One is ~30% of the electorate in polls. One is ~3-6% of the electorate. It's practically the same thing!

But I'm the person who is fucking stupid
