the less Mitt is seen/heard from on foreign policy, the better for him

If I'm Obama, after mentioning bin Laden juuuuusssssst one more time, I simply read down Romney's list of key FP advisors, hold up a picture of dubya, and ask, "any further questions?"
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Over/under on how many times Mitt says the word "Libya" during the debate?

Does the viewership usually go down for the last debate?

I wonder how widely it's understood that presidents are far more powerful on foreign policy than economic issues. In that sense, this might be the most illuminating. At the same time, I'm having trouble imagining what could change all that many minds at this point: Obama's record is what it is, and Romney already has made an ass of himself on this issue for anyone disposed to see him that way.

I hope Schaefer brings up Bush's foreign policy record. Given how many of his old crew are advising Mittens, I think it's relevant. But I would be surprised if the name "Bush" is spoken more than once, and a shutout wouldn't shock me.

So over the past few days the national polls have gone one way and the state polls the other.

the mitt romney donation ads on the bottom of this page have gone down to $5. It was like $20 when I first noticed. Then it was $9. Now it's $5. I wonder if that's the national strategy or the more times it's presented to me without results, the lower it goes.

My facebook feed has a lot of Pearl Harbor mentions. That's surprising, since very few of my facebook friends were alive then. It's really surprising that people arent talking more about the terrorist attack that happened this year, over the attacks that happened years ago.

Just saw the first ad wanting me to reject Prop 42 -- the Gay Marriage thing.

They are trying to convince me they are not anti gay. But them people already have some rights and they don't really need any more. Plus, gay people want to sue you if you don't vote their way. The ad says we need to preserve marriage. Prop 42 would NOT preserve marriage. But if they know WHY prop 42 doesn't preserve marriage they aren't saying.

Meanwhile the ads supporting the proposition are brilliant. Especially the Republican politician widow lady from the Eastern part of the state. But the other ones are excellent too. I guess them people are really good at making political ads.

NYTimes "endorses" Murphy over rasslin lady

They say little, and thankfully do it in few words. The Orlando Sentinel could learn a trick or two from the Times here: if you're gonna praise someone with faint damns, make it snappy

Tragedy aside, I think that playing Lybia is over playing a hand. So extremely short sighted. If you put it in a business context, it is holding the CEO accountable for just one of many crisis. To seriously think that the president is on point on everything is just moronic. Seriously, reviewing and insuring security at an embassy, mission, etc. is not a president's job, nor should it be. Obama has a foreign policy track record that is good.
