A friend of my wife's father/daughter dance was to Send in the Clowns, which is way up there in wedding-inappropriateness. Her father was a professional clown, but still.

weather's crappy today, but if it's a nice day & your 4.5 hrs covers a noontime, and you want to spend nothing, NY Public Lib is a great peoplewatching vantage point, either east or west sides. Also park ave up by the seagram building/churches. or the apple store, but kinda touristy
