Sometimes I wonder how long I could do absolutely nothing at work before they'd fire me. I think if I did absolutely nothing, I could probably get a month, maybe 2 before they'd fire me. If I did VERY little, like maybe spend an hour a day working, I bet I could get to 6 months (or the next round of layoffs) before they'd fire me.

Haha, when I was writing that post, I originally had it with out the "waterproof", but I thought, "if I don't put it's a waterproof umbrella, just windproof, Bucky is gonna say, "what good is a windproof umbrella, if it isn't waterproof?!" So I put it in, but you foiled me anyway!!

random question but it's been vexing me. how do you handle being called an n-word by your black friends? it's only one guy but he always does it, then he calls me 'my white boy'. don't know how to respond.

When I was like 12, I had three tremendously stupid friends who lived in my neighborhood. Like the types who put fireworks in dogshit and got into rock fights with one another. Two of the three dropped out of high school, and the third may have but he moved away and I'm not sure. My mom, who could find the kindness in deer ticks, encouraged me to not hang out with them, and I more or less stopped by the time I was 14.
I bring this up because I looked at my facebook friends who "like" Mitt Romney, and they were three of the six.

I watched it live, it was pretty exciting. Amazing what NASA/JPL can do. Most countries can't even get one thing to Mars, the US has now landed six out of seven, and this was the most technically difficult landing by a wide margin.
