a friend of my wife's just texted her and asked if we were interested in two tickets to the Eagles game Thursday night. I said ok, figure I'll take my son, he's been wanting to check it out. So we say "sure", she texts back she wants $95 apiece for them. so, fuck that.

oh, whoa. you have to say up front there's a cost. it's totally kosher to sell tix to friends, but you have to lead with that. tell her to check out a goddamn website called stubhub.

i have to question whether she's a true friend, or looking to prosper from that friendship. that's just an outsider view, though. i dont charge my actual close friends anything for anything. just seems weird, unless we agree to it before actually buying something.

I don't think she's just dumb. I don't think there is any malicious or motive behind it, I think they are a family memebers tickets or something, I know she's not an Eagles fan or anything, so she probably just doesn't realize that no one will give you shit for pre-season tickets.
