i've peed in fear of a praying mantis that stuck himself to my car and made a 20 minute ride of me donig 70 plus. i was terrified to get out of my car.

The worst is when there's a spider crawling across your windshield and you're expecting it to be on the outside....then it's not...

So wait, you guys think it's okay to fondle and taste poop, as long as you wash your hands afterward, but you act like a 10 year old girl when you're confronted with an arthropod or an ostrich?

Also, weren't camp shirts (button down, short sleeve, plaid or striped) the hipster thing a few years back?

I guess the category "short-sleeved button down shirt" is too broad. The one that my wife got me that prompted this conversation would not be considered a short-sleeved dress shirt per Bucky's definition, I think (and I agree with him on that point - those are the kinds of shirts that look like they need a pocket protector). It might be a camp shirt, though I don't think I had heard that term until just now.

To clarify my earlier comments on short-sleeve button downs, I'm thinking dress shirt style. I will rock the right kind of button down short sleeve shirt if the mood strkes me. The dress shirt style is what's whack, although I prefer a regular full sleeve button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up now though.

i think i'm at the point where i wear polo t-shirts 90% of the time, but that's more of a function of me needing to buy new t-shirts.

work at a pretty low key job in terms of dress. most days i'm wearing a button down, either long or short sleeve cause it's south carolina and it's hot ffs. been rocking a lot plaid lately. i'd delve further but i feel like i may skid out into PtK territory or that time floppy gave us an organizational flow chart of his closet
