Yeah I am looking for Philly places, not gonna be hanging around Nova but just crashing there. We are going to Barves game next weekend so anyone know a decent outdoor beer garden/roof deck type place for cheap for pregame?

Morgan's Pier would probably hit the spot. probably a free concert going on, too. it's a waterfront deal, not especially cheap but not gouging prices. all the Center City roof deck bars that I know of are stupid expensive

We get five days off. Everyone is goin home for that time. I'm gonna spend a few days in Chicago at my dads cousins house whom I have never met. Would it be weird if I went to a cubs game by myself?

i stepped out to pick something up from my mom in the parking lot. it was pretty miserable. need a nap, a 5 hour and a beer.

calvin, why would it be weird to go to a cubs game by yourself? I mean, even if it were, what the fuck do you care? you don't know anyone there, I doubt people would be like who is this guy by himself? Lets run him out of town on a rail and tar and feather him!

i've gone to plenty of out-of-town games solo. Even went to Fenway solo, but I didn't leave that way

on a related note, I love going to concerts solo. it's a little hard to get motivated to do it, but once I'm there, the freedom is great

hate going to shows solo. downtime between bands is killer.
